Two centuries in the future, ecological devastation forces humanity underground. But even underground, not all areas were safe. Protection shields only guarantee air quality within certain regions, and breathing masks when traveling between areas.
Food sources have become remarkably uniform. The gap between the rich and the poor becomes even wider—the rich live in intelligent, advanced oxygen apartments with simulated terrestrial scenarios, and top-notch medical technology. The poor live in overcrowded communities and slums. Electricity is an essential resource in the world, but the allocation of power is often under the control of the wealthy. Sadly, the quantity of reliable batteries available to the poor is dismally scarce.
